The ocean is only the beginning. Nazaré also lives in its fishing heritage, the streets of the lower town and the views from the Sítio. Leave a little room to look closer: a familiar face at a window, fishing boats on the sand, the everyday details behind a place known around the world. Giant waves are a natural, seasonal phenomenon and are never guaranteed.
